Fr. O'Brien was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Washington in 1975. He is Professor Emeritus of Law at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and Visiting Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center. Fr. O'Brien has published extensively in family law, elder law, and decedents' estates. He has been a regular Sunday celebrant here at St. Elizabeth Parish since 1995.
