I grew up in Twinbrook and was a member of St. Mary’s parish. After graduating from Richard Montgomery High School, I attended The Catholic University of America for my undergraduate education and law school.
I currently live in Aspen Hill with my husband, Walter, and family. I have been a member of the St. Elizabeth’s parish since 2009. Over the years, I have participated in several parish and school activities such as being a lector, choir member, girl scout assistant troop leader, MAC week chaperone, and school volunteer.
Professionally, I was a lawyer between 1996 and 2014. In September 2014, I was appointed as an administrative law judge at the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services. In October 2023, I began my appointment as an administrative law judge at the Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings. I also serve on the Board of District 4 of the National Association of Women Judges.
