Mike Caldarera has been a member of St. Elizabeth Parish for over 30 years. Originally from New Orleans, Mike received a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Orleans, and he moved to Maryland in 1989 following engineering work assignments in both Texas and Georgia. He spent the last 25 plus years of his career working for two energy-related trade associations advocating on their behalf primarily before federal regulatory agencies, but also occasionally before members of Congress on Capitol Hill.
During his time at St. Elizabeth Church, Mike has served on the Parish Council at various times totaling nearly ten years, and in his earlier years, he also volunteered as a lector. In addition to the council, he currently volunteers as a Homebound Eucharistic Minister and assists the parish by recording the weekly collections from each mass. Following the passing of his wife in 2022, his primary focus today is to be present for his family and supporting his two kids in completing their education.
